Man, I had no idea you were so into photography... now I feel doubly guilty for not managing to hook up with you and Joy while I was in Seattle. I presume the photo featured in this post was taken with your lomo?
I've got a D70, too, and have been looking for a "carry everywhere" camera for lomographic purposes. I may spring for one of the super cheap medium formats just to play around with it, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to end up with an ultracompany digital to carry around.
The single best purchase I made for my D70 was an SB800 flash... I still need a faster lens, though.
Anyway, I love your stuff. The vast majority of my photos aren't on Flickr yet, but I'm workin' on it. I hope and pray for the day that my company gets off its butt and ports Picasa to the Mac. :)

we have the SB600, which definitely is a grand old flash...currently ours needs to go in. our main flash is busted and i have a hunch that the shoe perhaps shorted out our 600...ack
thanks man for checking out and digging the photos--the above was a lomo shot. i've had a mind to try to get a digital carry everywhere, but this lomo is too beautiful to not have! once i got into the groove, i can guarantee a roll of at least probably half lovely pictures :)
the holga is a great cheap medium format camera, and definitely for hackers...i've spray painted the inside, taped it up, and got velcro as a fastener and light leak coverer. lots of fun!
please get your pics up dude...
funny thing is i was lamenting tonight...rather joy was, that our Mac mini purchase hasn't been put to use as much as it should have--as our photo cataloguing station, mainly because she uses picassa incessantly, and i use iPhoto, as does our Mini, and unless either apple does an iPhoto for PC, or picassa does a Mac rollout, we're stuck in frustration of sharing the memory card after each photo taking session--one for her PC, and one for us to upload to our "central" repository, and sometimes yet another to load into my iBook!.
oh, and I'm finally (FINALLY) up on flickr. not too many photos up yet but getting there. I'm up in the place, at least. I'm so addicted right now. it's kind of scary.
You son looks thugish. Nice job.
he always gives the ice grill in photos...dunno where he gets it from. his pops is always grinnin
