    i'm finding that wordpress makes it really clumsy to run an environment outside of the production instance--i.e. i think it keeps the "blog name" in the *database*, making it more work than it should be to run a local instance. i spent about 2-3 hours total getting my blog into SVN and getting the database setup locally, only to find out when i hit the local site, it immediately redirects to blog.isaidjon.com.

    oh well. i'll run a local WP and work on a theme locally, then bump it up to "prod" i guess...

    get the disqus plugin happening for the comments bro. it's heaps better.

    nevermind--i see now--it does allow you to import your old joints.

    alright DJP--i've started with the disqus plugin. the hope is that my other comments will filter in soon...they better :)
