I had some problems with the Google Desktop beta, but an uninstall cleared it up. (I have yet to reinstall it. I'll probably wait until it's out of beta.)&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I've also been playing with the Google feed reader recently (&lt;a href="http://www.google.com/reader)" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" title="http://www.google.com/reader)"&gt;http://www.google.com/reader)&lt;/a&gt;. That app has some serious problems.
